Roger Federer’s 18th Major - Bad Omen for the World?

The number 18 has a negative connotation in God’s Word.  Eighteen men perished when the Tower of Siloam fell on them in Luke 13:4, and eighteen years the woman with a spirit of infirmity was bent over by her disease in Luke 13:11.  The number 18 has been on my mind for years now, ever since the last stock market crash in 2008.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average peaked at just over 14,000 in 2007, and then crashed to below 7,000 by 2009.  Fourteen thousand was the highest it had ever reached up until that point, and yet something inside me back then seemed to be warning, “The Dow will reach over 18,000 when the next crash happens!”   It took six years (2013) for the Dow to finally get back over 14,000 again, poised to enter new unchartered territory, setting new record highs.  This year in 2015 it hit over 18,000, reaching 18,312 on May 19!  It sits today at 17,760.  Has the peak been reached?

Tennis has been on my mind my whole life.  My brother and I loved playing it as kids, and we both played on our High School teams.   We watch the four major tennis tournaments on TV every year.  This weekend closes the third major of the year, the Wimbledon event in London, and Roger Federer is in the final bidding for a record breaking 18th major championship. That’s right, EIGHTEEN!  No man has ever done that in the Open Tennis Era!  Pete Sampras and Rafael Nadal are in second place, each with 14 major titles.

Roger Federer will turn 34 years old next month, August 8.  He’s the oldest man to be in a Wimbledon final since Ken Rosewall in 1974 – who didn’t win by the way.  He plays Novak Djokovic.  He couldn’t beat Novak in last year’s final, but now … who knows?  Could he REALLY win an 18th major at almost 34 years old?  The year the Dow just reached 18,000? Is God even using Tennis to warn the world, through the number 18, of soon coming trouble? I’ll be there Sunday in front of the TV, 8am central time, watching!

The Shemita Year & Gabriel Ansley Erb's Book "Undeniable Biblical Proof"

From the dawn of time God blessed the seventh day (sundown Friday to sundown Saturday) and every seventh day thereafter He set apart as blessed and holy.  It was on this day May 6, 2005 (Friday night around 10:45pm) that God first brought me back to Him by miraculously forming a shadowed silhouette of my deceased father’s face on my refrigerator door.  It was also on this day December 8, 2007 (Saturday morning around 8am) that God first talked to me about His amazing meaning/message behind the ancient Bible stories He purposed to happen.  Oh, but there’s more!

Once God created the nation of Israel, He gave them a law where every seventh year the land was to rest.  In other words, now God created a yearly Sabbath to occur every seventh year: “But in the seventh year shall be a Sabbath of rest unto the land, a Sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard” (Leviticus 25:4).  The Sabbath year is called the Shmita (Shemitah), and it is still ongoing to this very day!

The Shemitah year began this past Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets) September 2014 and continues until this year’s Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets) 2015 during September  13-15.  In other words, we are living in a holy Sabbath year right now!

Well, if we go back 7 years, we learn the last Sabbath year began Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets) 2007 and carried through Rosh Hashanah (2008).  Do you know what happened during that blessed and holy year?  I received and wrote the ENTIRE stunning message God gave me about His Word in the book “Undeniable Biblical Proof Jesus Christ Will Return to Planet Earth Exactly 2,000 Years After the Year of His Death”.  Truly, what an ANOINTED time the seventh day and seventh year is in God’s eyes!!!

Blessed & Holy Sabbath day to All,

Gabriel
