Ten Commandments written on Two Stone Tables

I am still working faithfully and diligently to complete the 20 online "chapter summaries" for the book's website. Thankfully, I only have chapter 18, 19, and 20 to write yet, so I will be done real soon! But since I haven't blogged in awhile, I thought I would share a little Bible secret with you that God revealed to me recently as I was writing the summary for chapter 10 Wilderness. This may not seem like much of a revelation, but it blessed me greatly.

In my book I reveal that God created our physical (dirt) bodies, which house our spirits (souls) during our brief Earthly life, to contain 10 appendages on our hands and feet to mimick God's Law of Love (10 Love Commandments). But even though I have known this fact for several years, I never thought to question (or wonder) why God wrote the 10 Commandments on TWO stone tables for Moses. Do you see it? Because we have TWO hands, and TWO feet!!!

Isn't that awesome? You know as well as me God could have written the 10 Commandments on ONE table for Moses--which I'm sure would have been easier for him to carry!--but now I know that God wanted to give an even greater witness to the fact that every time you hold your hands out in front of you (or look at your feet) you are looking at the TWO STONE TABLES containing the 10 Love Commandments.

Please utilize your hands and feet to obey God's Law of love!
