From the dawn of time God blessed the seventh day (sundown Friday to sundown Saturday) and every seventh day thereafter He set apart as blessed and holy. It was on this day May 6, 2005 (Friday night around 10:45pm) that God first brought me back to Him by miraculously forming a shadowed silhouette of my deceased father’s face on my refrigerator door. It was also on this day December 8, 2007 (Saturday morning around 8am) that God first talked to me about His amazing meaning/message behind the ancient Bible stories He purposed to happen. Oh, but there’s more!
Once God created the nation of Israel, He gave them a law where every seventh year the land was to rest. In other words, now God created a yearly Sabbath to occur every seventh year: “But in the seventh year shall be a Sabbath of rest unto the land, a Sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard” (Leviticus 25:4). The Sabbath year is called the Shmita (Shemitah), and it is still ongoing to this very day!
The Shemitah year began this past Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets) September 2014 and continues until this year’s Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets) 2015 during September 13-15. In other words, we are living in a holy Sabbath year right now!
Well, if we go back 7 years, we learn the last Sabbath year began Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets) 2007 and carried through Rosh Hashanah (2008). Do you know what happened during that blessed and holy year? I received and wrote the ENTIRE stunning message God gave me about His Word in the book “Undeniable Biblical Proof Jesus Christ Will Return to Planet Earth Exactly 2,000 Years After the Year of His Death”. Truly, what an ANOINTED time the seventh day and seventh year is in God’s eyes!!!
Blessed & Holy Sabbath day to All,
Gabriel
