Faith = Humility (Even Dogs Eat Children’s Crumbs)

There is a seemingly strange exchange of words Jesus once had with a Greek woman that expose a PROFOUND TRUTH behind the real Biblical meaning of the word “faith”.  At first glance, it’s like, “What? Is Jesus confused? Where’s the “faith” in that?  But upon closer inspection of God’s Word (understanding how its many terms & phrases fit together) a wonderful truth about “Faith” is confirmed in Jesus’ words with this woman.

Here’s what happened: A Syrophenician woman approached Jesus wanting him to heal (caste a demon out of) her troubled daughter, but Jesus said, “Let the children (Israelites) first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to caste it unto the dogs (Greeks)” (Mark 7:27).  The woman amazingly replied, “Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs (Mark 7:28).  Too this, Jesus excitedly replied, “Oh, woman, GREAT is thy FAITH: be it unto thee even as thou wilt (Matthew 15:28).  The Bible then records her daughter was made whole that very hour!

So where's the faith?  It’s the case of the missing faith, right?  Doesn’t the church teach us today … our “faith” is to “believe in what Jesus did on the cross”?  It doesn’t add up does it? So I ask again, how did this woman’s words reveal her faith?  How could Jesus possibly recognize this woman had GREAT FAITH (in God) from her few simple words?  Are you ready for the Biblical answer?  It’s in this fact: HUMILITY equals FAITH !!!  Listen, humble people love (keep God’s 10 Love Commandments) proving they “believe in Jesus”; whereas prideful people do NOT love (disobey God’s 10 Love Commandments) proving they “do NOT believe in Jesus”.

Imagine if Jesus had referred to some of the Pharisees & Sadducees as “dogs” right to their face!  Oh my!  What would have been THEIR reaction?  Like the woman's?  Are you kidding me?  Not a chance; they would have been EXTREMELY offended!  Why?  Because deep down in their heart they thought highly of themselves!  They were FULL of PRIDE!!!  They would NEVER have replied with this woman’s humble words, basically saying, “I know Lord, I’m the lowest of the low, but please help me.”  Wowzer, she wasn’t offended in the least bit! It’s almost as if the woman had no pride at all!  Amazing!  Show me a person like that, and I’ll show you a person having GREAT potential to LOVE!  Yes, show me a person like that, and I’ll show you a person with GREAT FAITH.

Sincerely,

Gabriel

Jesus’ Healings Picture Salvation

A few weeks ago, while watching a Gospel of Matthew movie, my understanding of Jesus’ healing miracles was further enlightened.  The basic plot is this … a sick person approaches Jesus wanting healed, and so Jesus heals them.  Or someone approaches Jesus wanting someone else healed (a friend, family member, relative, etc) and so Jesus heals them.  Here’s the deal; these healing miracles ALL picture Jesus’ ability to offer us salvation (eternal life)!  Let me explain.

Pain, sorrow, labor, fear, and death are the spiritual result of Adam & Eve’s sin in the Garden of Eden, and since sickness and disease cause pain, they too are a manifestation of the sin curse we Earthlings endure.  Consequently, when Jesus would heal someone of a disease or sickness, taking away their pain, it was REALLY a picture of Jesus’ ability to take away (forgive) our sin!  Do you see? This is the reason Jesus said: “But that YE MAY KNOW that the Son of man hath power on Earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and walk!” (Matthew 9:6).

Never once does the Bible record an incident where someone comes to Jesus wanting healing and he does not heal.  It didn’t matter their nationality, race, or religion!  Do you understand?  This echoes: “And let him that is athirst come.  And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely” (The Revelation 22:17).  Yes, truly, Jesus will NEVER turn away someone who seeks him (desires to follow him): He will ALWAYS forgive them of their sins, giving them eternal life: “And great multitudes followed him, and he healed them ALL” (Matthew 12:15).  And what about those running up to Jesus wanting someone else healed? They picture prayer!  They picture someone praying for someone else’s salvation!  And remember, Jesus ALWAYS healed them!  This understanding should be a TREMENDOUS encouragement to you to never stop praying for your loved one’s salvation!

Be aware of these truths as you watch your next Jesus movie, for it is amazing and wonderful to understand what Jesus is communicating through what he is doing as he goes about his ministry: “And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them” (Matthew 15:30).  Hallelujah!

The Thief on the Cross

What about the New Testament story of the “thief on the cross”?  Does it contradict the rest of what God’s Word teaches concerning what mankind MUST DO to obtain eternal life?  I often hear this story brought up by those who hold erroneous salvation doctrinal beliefs, as if it somehow defends their mistaken position.  I assure you, it does not!  Therefore, let’s take a closer look at this story.

First off, let’s review ALL we know from God’s Word about the lives of the two men who were crucified alongside of Jesus:  1. Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John confirm they were thieves, and that Jesus’ cross was positioned between their crosses.  2. Mark reveals this happened to fulfill Isaiah 53:12: “and he was numbered with the transgressors”.  3. Matthew says they BOTH initially joined in with those calling for Jesus to save himself: “The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth” (Matthew 27:44).  4. Luke records: “And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.  But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?  And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.  And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.  And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:39-43).  Luke says the above conversation took place about high noon, followed by 3 hours of darkness (noon till 3pm), afterwhich Jesus soon died.  5. Then, several more hours later (around 5 or 6pm?) John records the thieves’ legs were broke and they died.

Alright, let me begin with the Biblical bottom line concerning OUR DUTY in obtaining eternal life (salvation)… we MUST have a REPENTANT heart!  We must acknowledge sin as evil and be willing to turn away from it.  The very MOMENT a soul has this kind of a “heart change” they are on the “narrow way” that leads to eternal life.  The thief’s repentant heart was revealed in these words (paraphrasing): “Don’t you fear God even at death!  We’re getting what we deserve!  We did wrong and deserve to pay for our sins!  Please have mercy on me Jesus!  Don’t forget about me!”  Can you hear his belief in God, his remorse for his sins, and his humility of heart?  That’s how salvation is obtained!  Zacchaeus got it too, instantly, when his repentant heart cried, “Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.  And Jesus said unto him, THIS DAY is salvation come to this house!” (Luke 19:1-10).  Hear is "turned away from sin" heart?

But here now is the cold hard truth; if a soul still has more time to live on Earth after this genuine “change of heart” experience (a month, year, or more) and they at some point go back to living a lifestyle of willful sin, they will then be back on the “broad way” that leads to eternal death!  This is why John the Baptist cried: “Bring forth your (good) fruit, in KEEPING WITH REPENTANCE” (Matthew 3:8).  In other words, repentance is not JUST a one time decision, it is a continual duty of “fighting to keep God’s 10 Love Commandments” in one’s daily life.  And now you know there is nothing contradictory about the story of the “thief on the cross” and the rest of what God’s Word declares concerning what WE MUST DO to obtain eternal life.  Amen.

What We Don’t Know (about the thieves on the cross):

  1. How long were they thieves in prison … a week, a month, a year or more?
  2. Were they Jews?
  3. Did they attend Synagogue as a child?
  4. When did the “remember me” thief first have a repentant heart?  Was it 3 months earlier, in prison, when he had a heart-to-heart with God?  Was his heart already changed and “doing good (loving)” to his fellow prisoners and jailors for the last 3 months or more, before going to the cross?
  5. What was the “remember me” thief caught stealing?  Food to feed his starving family?
  6. Did the OTHER thief later have the same change of heart (sometime between 12 - 6pm) and make heaven, too?

Sincerly,

Gabriel

Marvel Not At This: Good Choices = Heaven, Evil Choices = Hell

Webster’s dictionary defines the word “marvel” as: to become filled with surprise, wonder, or amazed curiosity; to feel astonishment or perplexity at or about. Jesus used this word when he said the following: Marvel NOT at this: for the hour is coming, in the which ALL that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have DONE GOOD, unto the resurrection of LIFE; and they that have DONE EVIL, unto the resurrection of DAMNATION” (John 5:2-29).

Did you see it?  Jesus said “Marvel NOT at the following fact!”  In other words, don’t be surprised by it.  Don’t wonder about it.  Don’t be astonished or perplexed about it.  It’s a truth that should resonate in the deepest part of your spirit … There is a God, you will be judged by Him, and if you made a willful choice to DO GOOD (obey His 10 Love Commandments) you will go to heaven, but if you made a willful choice to DO EVIL (disobey His 10 Love Commandments) you will go to hell.  None of this should make you marvel!

But I challenge you, say this fact to a modern day churchgoer and watch their reaction.  You will very likely hear them angrily retort … “We’re not saved by works!”  Huh?  What do they mean by that?  Who taught them to lash out like that to the above truth?  Why does the simple truth of Jesus’ words above now seem to offend them?

Isn’t that amazing?  It’s as if Jesus KNEW last days Christianity would arise, filled with twisted demonic doctrines about salvation, trying to diminish and refute God’s simple truth above (those “doing good” go to heaven and those “doing evil” go to hell) and thus he prefaced that truth with these four little words – “Marvel NOT at this”.  Now there’s something to marvel about!

Boston Marathon Bombing (No More Hurting People)

A year ago, a smiling 8-year old boy, Martin Richard, held up a peace sign he had made containing a hopeful message, “No More hurting People”.  In a horrendous twist of fate, this past Monday, young Martin was hurt to death near the finish line of the Boston Marathon when a shrapnel laced bomb was detonated right near him.

What is the common denominator in everyone’s life that end up going to hell after they die?  It’s simple; while they lived on Earth … THEY HURT PEOPLE!  “Hurting people” comes in many forms, but each one always falls under “disobedience to one or more of God’s 10 Love Commandments”.  It’s the business man charging a price he would not want to pay, it’s the cheater stepping out on his wife, it’s the thief stealing someone’s goods, and it’s the bomber murdering his fellowman.  “Hurting people” is what sin is and does.

But in the end we must ALL face the High Court.  We must ALL go before the Big Judge! What will we say then?  What will we do when the tapes of our lives are rolling, proving while we lived on Earth … we hurt people?  And all for what we thought was our gain, but now realize was for our eternal loss!  And then the Boss says, “Step over here son, I’ve prepared some special beings who are even now biting at the chomp, waiting to hurt you, eternally!  Go on now, down there!”

There’s roughly fifteen more years left (in this 6,000 year age of sin) for people to “hurt people”, and then God is going to put a stop to it at Christ’s return.  Don’t weep for Martin, he’s in heaven!  He’s escaped the worst of what’s to come!  Weep instead for yourselves, if you’re not living right.  Then come to your senses and heed God’s message for all mankind since the dawn of time, “No More hurting People!”

Gold & Silver will be Worthless!

Speaking of the time right before His son Jesus Christ’s return to planet Earth, God prophesied these words through His servant Zephaniah: “The great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the Lord: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.  That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.  And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.  Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord’s wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of His jealousy: for He shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the Earth” (Zephaniah 1:14-18).

For the past decade I have been reading articles about how the rich are buying up and hoarding gold & silver bars and financial speculators are taking long positions in gold and silver. Consequently, since the year AD 2000, gold has increased in value from under $300 an ounce to over $1800 an ounce, and silver from under $5 an ounce to almost $50 an ounce.  Why is this happening?  It’s because the world’s financial system is in turmoil – debt is everywhere and people are very concerned, especially those with money.  So what do they do?  They desperately sink their money into physical gold and silver to hopefully protect their wealth.

Well, trouble is coming, folks.  That’s for sure!  Soon, the world’s financial system will be reduced to a “mark” taken on the right hand or forehead, without which no one will be able to buy or sell.  This “mark” will be intimately connected with the Antichrist, and if you take it, your soul will be eternally doomed to the lake of fire!

God has prophesied (through my book) that His son Jesus Christ will return to Earth during precisely the 2,000th year after whatever year it was he died on the cross – this year will likely be AD 2028!  I have written it, I have shouted it, and I have sung it.  I don’t know what else to do!  There’s roughly 15 years left until the end of all things in this 6,000 year age of sin.  Soon, God is going to ask you to denounce the world and its money.  Will you be ready to walk away from it all?  Or will you be found with a “mark” on your hand, cowering in fear, realizing your gold and silver will not deliver you on the day of God’s wrath?  Put your trust in God, folks … NOT IN MONEY!!!

Sincerely,

Gabriel

All Damnable Sin is 10 Love Commandments Disobedience

Lay aside all the astonishing Biblical prophetic truths God taught me (including the knowledge of when Christ’s return will be right at the doors!) and this was surely the most meaningful and practical Biblical revelation God taught me in AD 2007 – ALL unrepentant sin that defiles a person, ultimately sending them to hell, is based on disobedience to one or more of God’s 10 Love Commandments. This Truth divulged EACH of God’s 10 Commandments have a DON’T and a DO side, and ONLY when both sides are being followed is that commandment being obeyed (kept).  This wonderful revelation can clear up much Scriptural confusion.

For instance, God’s 6th Love Commandment states: “Thou shalt not kill (murder)” (Exodus 20:13).  But Jesus added, “Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the Judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the Judgment” (Matthew 5:21-22).  And the Apostle John added, “He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.  Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him” (I John 3:14-15).  Here we learn unjustified anger & hatred are part of disobedience to God’s 6th Love Commandment, for they are the heart and mindset of a murderer!

So what is the DO side of this commandment?  In other words, what must a person DO who is carrying the sins of anger & hatred towards someone?  FORGIVE!  And this is why Jesus would also teach, “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive NOT men their trespasses, neither will your heavenly Father forgive your trespasses” (Matthew 6:14-15).  Christ is making it clear here that unrepentant unforgiveness can send a person to hell!  And now you understand his words are really just expounding on God’s 6th Love Commandment.  Pretty cool, huh?

Well, there is an incredible poster God has created in these last days which fully discloses EACH of God’s 10 Love Commandments (with the DON’T and DO sides) complete with supportive Biblical phrases and Scripture references.  The poster is called The 10 Love Commandments Poster.  There is much more information on the poster, but this alone is a POWERFUL revelation that every person on Earth should know and abide by.  It’s all just Love!  Check out the poster links below!
