The Amazing Sun And Moon

Speaking about that torturous Passover night when Jesus was praying in earnest in the Garden of Gethsemane just minutes before his betrayal and capture, on page 196 of my book (really, God’s book!) I write:

"In agony, realizing his imminent abysmal fate, he prayed … intensely, sweating what “looked like” great drops of blood … Ok, hold up a minute! Watch this! Do you know what phase the moon is in during the 14th day of a lunar month …? It is full!!! And what can ONLY happen during a full moon? A lunar eclipse – i.e. Earth passes directly between the moon and sun. And what color is the moon during a lunar eclipse? Eerie Red! The ancients called the terrible omen a “BLOOD moon”! Friend, a lunar eclipse can be at “totality” for over an hour, so it is VERY likely Jesus’ sweat “looked like blood” because of the red-shift light emitted from the moon during a dark lunar eclipse!

While Jesus was still praying, a mob arrived to arrest (bind) him, and he stated to them: “When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but THIS is your HOUR, and the power of darkness” (Luke 22:53). Could it be these spiritual words of Jesus were being physically punctuated by the Father God in heaven, as a sin-filled Earth blocked out (eclipsed) the sun’s light from reaching the moon for an hour – “the hour of darkness”? And what was the result of this “darkness”? The clue was written on the moon!!! Its uncanny, deep red glow silently screamed, “The Messiah’s blood is going to flow!” Yes, friend, I believe the invisible, Almighty God was talking to His spirit children (mankind) on that all-important night through His created celestial bodies."

This past week I learned something about our sun and moon that AMAZED me! God created the sun’s size (diameter) to be exactly 400 times greater than that of the moon's!!! The sun’s diameter is 1,392,530 km, while the moon’s is 3,476 km. Doing the math (dividing the sun’s diameter by the moon’s diameter) yields = 400.6. Now, in my book, I reveal many Biblical secrets where God prophesied the Messiah, Christ Jesus, would DIE on the cross (delivering mankind’s souls out of bondage to sin) during Earth’s 4,000 year (during the year of Earth’s 4,000 trip around the sun) counted from Creation. Well, now you have another one! The size (fullness) of the sun (the light of the world) since the beginning of time has silently proclaimed the "fullness of time" the TRUE light of the world (Jesus) would destroy darkness. Thus, I will repeat the words I wrote in my book ... "I believe the invisible, Almighty, God was talking to His spirit children (mankind) on that all-important night THROUGH His CREATED celestial bodies."  Amen.
