One naïve protester barked through his bullhorn, “Why do we have so many terrorists in this country? Thank a Muslim. Why is there so much security at the airport? Thank a Muslim. Why are there so many wars in the
James said it correct: “If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world” (James 1:26-27). Were these protesters stirring up love? Are ALL people who practice the religion of Islam murderous jihadists? Are ALL people who practice the religion of Christianity prosperity chauvinists? Are there “good” people and “bad” people in EVERY religion? If one of these protesters passed a Muslim couple walking in their local grocery store – the woman having a humble black veil across her face – would their heart be full of love or hatred towards them? How about yours? Whose heart is PURE before God?

ReplyDeleteIs it possible for a person practicing the religion of Islam (or any other religion for that matter) to be at the very same time "born again" and on their way to eternal life?
