Do You “Believe In Jesus”?

I sat in church buildings in Lancaster, Pennsylvania week after week, year after year, as a child, teenager, and young adult listening to and believing the message that “Believing in Jesus” means to "Believe in what he DID (i.e. died on a cross and rose again)”, and that if I mentally believed that, I would go to heaven.  Well, was I ever SHOCKED when God the Father began showing and telling me through His Word (Bible) in AD 2006 - 2007 that I had been lied to all my life!  Can you imagine?  Friend, this is Satan’s biggest and most damning lie told in the religion of “Christianity”.  Yes, horrifyingly, Satan is using religion  specifically, the religion of “Christianity” – to deceive people and ultimately send them to hell!

So, do you want to hear the TRUTH about what the Biblical phrase “Believing in Jesus” means?  It means to “Believe in what he TAUGHT” proved by our obedience to those teachings in our daily living!  And what did Jesus continually teach in story after story and parable after parable?   LOVE!!!  Every one of his teachings (with respect to what WE must DO to obtain eternal life) was based on obeying the 10 Love Commandments … don’t be proud but be humble, don’t idolize dirt but idolize spirit, don’t murder but forgive, don’t commit adultery but honor the marriage bed, don’t steal but give, don’t lie but speak truth, don’t covet but be content, etc.  Do you see?  These things are all just the specifics of how one keeps the Golden Rule: “Do for Others what you want them to Do for You” (Matthew 7:12).  It's just love folks!   But THAT is precisely what people don’t want to do!

James argued this well when he wrote: “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.  But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” (James 2:19-20).  Here’s the deal folks; every devil in hell believes in what Jesus DID!  They know it with absolute certainty, for they were there.  They watched it happen!  They absolutely know Jesus is the one in whom mankind can receive forgiveness for their sins.  But do you know what they do NOT believe in?  LOVE !!!  In other words, they do NOT believe in what Jesus TAUGHT!  They know nothing about it, for they are full of darkness.  They only know the ways of pride (selfishness) demonstrated through greed. Therefore, they will NEVER get to heaven.

I can use James' words above (with respect to what "believing in Jesus" means) and truthfully write to you: “Thou believest that Jesus died on the cross for your sins; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.  But wilt thou know, O vain man, that Faith (believing in Jesus) without works (of love) is dead?”  I avidly encourage you to rise every day and recite the following words until the message sticks: “Believing in Jesus does NOT mean to believe in what he DID, it means to believe in what he TAUGHT.”  Then ask yourself, “Do I believe in Jesus?”  Remember, “Whosoever BELIEVETH IN HIM shall not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

In Christ's love,

Approximately 851 Weeks (Sabbaths) Remaining Till Christ's Return!

  1. wow how i was mislead!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. Look at the picture of Jesus above, what is he doing and what did he SAY immediately afterword: "Ye call me Master and Lord ... If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you" (John 13:13-15).

Can you imagine? Even the VERY NIGHT he was going to be betrayed and suffer immensely, he was still teaching LOVE (which is ALWAYS an act of humility). Stunning.

Do we need to DO WHAT JESUS TAUGHT to make Heaven? Are you kiddin' me?

  2. Gabriel,

I was listening once to Paul Washer (the pastor who made the "Shocking Youth Message" on Youtube) and I realized the same thing you said here (again), which amazed me because some of your thoughts paralleled mine in some way.

2 weeks ago I posted this:

[People often take John 3:16 and say, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever ACKNOWLEDGES AND ACCEPTS HIM AS SAVIOR shall not perish, but have everlasting life."

But here: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES IN HIM shall not perish, but have everlasting life."

Test: Do you really BELIEVE IN HIM?

Do you believe in Him when He said, “Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven”? (- Many don't believe this, which is a statement that came straight from the mouth of the Lord, preferring to believe instead in the one-time formula called the Sinner's Prayer)

Do you believe in Him when He said, “Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me”? (Many disregard this, not taking Him seriously.)

Do you believe in Him when He said that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery? (– Or you say, “That doesn’t apply today!”)

Do you believe in Him when He said it's hard for a wealthy man to go to heaven? (-- Or your heart desires wealth?)

Do you believe in Him when He said that anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell? (-- or you say "that's just a small thing"?)

Do you believe in Him saying “Anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart”? (– Or inside of you you say, “Of course not!”)]

Somehow the key to eternal life is "believing in Him" because that's what Jesus said in John 3:16. The problem is, there are many things He said that people don't believe (aside from the ones above), and if we "DON'T BELIEVE" in Him by not doing the will of the Father (His love commandments), for instance, “SHALL NOT PERISH” can’t apply.

    1. Hallelujah, Chris! You got it!

You were giving examples of a few of Jesus' teachings and realizing how a person's willful desire to "keep them" is what Jesus taught was the path to eternal life.

Jesus' teachings are ALL based on the 10LC. They are the ways of God, the ways of love, and the ways of light. They are God's Law and His Will. If we repent (strive to keep these 10 love commandments) God WILL forgive our sins through Jesus' work on the cross during the "regeneration".

"(Our) Repentance FOR (God's) forgiveness of sins" is what the Bible teaches over and over again as the path to eternal life.

  3. Amen Chris! Gabriel! Praise the Lord because he is opening people's eyes to see through Satan's lies in the Christian religion during these end days!
