The waves were rough and the disciples were scared. The boat was tossing back and forth in the night storm like a fish out of water. Would they live? Would they die? Then, all of a sudden they saw a figure in the distance – a ghost possibly! – walking calmly on the troubled waters. The terror. The confusion. It was a miraculous night they would NEVER forget … the night Jesus tread on the waves of the sea and quieted the storm.
A few short years later (having died on the cross and resurrected) Jesus frightened the disciples once again by appearing out of nowhere before them. But after convincing them that he was not a ghost, this time he had a powerful message to share with them: “These are the words which I spake unto you … that ALL things must be fulfilled, which were WRITTEN in the LAW OF MOSES, and in the PROPHETS, and in the PSALMS, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures” (Luke 24:44-45).
Friend, this is the proof of the Bible! This is the proof it is ALL real and true! It's in studying and learning all the secret things God wrote about the Messiah, Christ Jesus, in the Old Testament Scriptures and how he fulfilled every one precisely! This is the message the disciples, Paul, and the first century church went around teaching others. This is what caused the Bereans to: “receive the word with all readiness of mind, and search the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so” (Acts 17:11). If you have not taken time out in your life to learn these amazing things about the Bible and Christ, you are missing out on a wonderful message given to you by the God who gave you breath. (Please read my book “Undeniable Biblical Proof” to learn all these exciting truths.)
Now concerning God’s prophetic Word, I wonder if Jesus mentioned the words of Job to the disciples the night he was explaining the Scriptures to them? Job said: “(He) which treadeth upon the waves of the sea” (Job 9:8). Wow! I can almost hear Jesus speaking, “Do you remember the night I came to you walking on theSea of Galilee , disciples? Well, there is where it was prophesied about me! I did that for you that night to prove to you that I AM who I say I AM. I am the one who walks on the waves. I am the one whom even the wind obeys. Believe in me!”
Peaceful Sabbath,

Wow!!!!!! Incredible! Alot of preachers seem to study and teach on all the old testament prophets...but they only POINTED to the ONE to come!!! And HE is the one they should be studying and OBEYING! And if you look at Gabriel's Countdown to Christs' RETURN, you better preach the TRUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThere must be a good reason those things were not written down by Paul and the other disciples. It's amazing that what's being revealed to us right now is what Jesus told them in Luke 24! I wish more people take the time to read your book. I linked to it once and also to one of your articles, I just don't know if people even checked them out. But these things are just incredible!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more, Chris. And thanks for helping deliver the book's message to the world. I just watched a little of Rood Awakening tonight on TV, listening to him talk all about the physical evidence for the Exodus, etc. And then just like always, not ONE WORD concerning what the story is ACTUALLY about! The church just has no clue. It's so sad.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I just don't know why God has burdened me with these amazing truths of His Word, but I'm doing everything I can to make it known. I truly believe in the next decade or so, these truths will finally reach certain pastors in today's churches, who will then begin speaking them to the people and on TV. Oh, how I long for that day! Thanks again, Chris, for helping. God's will be done.
Wow, thanks Gabriel! I didnt know about this prophecy! Fascinating! I am familiar with the many others concerning the Messiah but this one I never heard mentioned in all the years I was a church goer. Neither on tv, radio etc. I opened Job yesterday and bam! There it was all along! God's prophecies are so Amazing!
ReplyDeleteI had never heard it either, Ramsey. I came across this verse in Job in the early part of this past week (Monday maybe?) and INSTANTLY the Lord revealed to me its prophetic meaning and then urged me to blog about it this Sabbath.
DeleteThis blog is very exciting, even to me, because I never know what God is going to do, reveal, or ask me to write about each week. I just go with the flow, moving with the Spirit.
Wow, that's exciting and amazing! The Lord is Awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was just me that didn't hear about it, as I still don't know many things that others do. It turns out that the whole church world doesn't know it either! Praise the Lord once again!
